LORAC ALTER EGO LIPSTICKS
LORAC Came out with a new formula of lipsticks called Alter Ego Lipsticks for the Summer of 2014. These highly pigmented lipsticks are named after several different "Alter Ego's" that one might have. The two colors I have here are 'Sex Kitten' & 'Southern Belle.' These lipsticks are sold online at ULTA as well as LORACcosmetics.com
Price: $16 (Which is very affordable)
Packaging: Very nice gunmetal packaging with the shade of the lipstick on the bottom to be seen.

Overall impressions of the lipsticks were that they smelled nice, the packaging was gorgeous and the color selection has a wide range to really meet several different tastes. The formula was not my particular favorite. It was chalky and as it applied on the lips it balled up in certain spots, even on my exfoliated lips. Very difficult to wear and the lightest shade looked terrible on it's own, it need to be topped with a gloss. I am very familiar with a matte formula, but I found these incredibly difficult to wear. These were a skip for me, although the colors are stunning!

Oh my gosh, I just bought the same two colors and I don't like them at all! Well I love the colors but the formula is terrible. Southern Belle goes on so cakey and just settles in lines and makes my lips look awful. Sex Kitten was a bit better but I still have to wear a gloss with it. I love Lorac but these are not good.
