Maybelline Dare To Go Nude Spring 2014 | Limited Edition Lipsticks + Color Elixirs

Maybelline released their Spring 2014 Dare To Go Nude Collection with several gorgeous neutral products! Their Colorsensational Lipsticks are always some of my favorites.  This collection had 4 Limited Edition shades and I picked up 2 that stuck out to me.  The 2 I picked up are Ravishing Rose- which is a pale milky coral pink color. This is very light on the lips and applies very evenly with a creme finish.  Nude Embrace- is a mauve taupe nude color that is also a creme finish and applies very evenly to the lips.  

I love both of these colors and think they are a great addition to any collection, especially if you are a nude lover!

 In the Dare To Go Nude Collection they released 6 Limited Edition Color Elixirs.  Maybellines Color Elixirs are a gloss that feels like a balm and has the pigmentation of a lipstick.  I only picked up 1 of the 6 colors and it was a milky peachy nude color called Sandy Sensation.  

 Sandy Sensation- is a beautiful nude that is the perfect topper to any of the lipsticks shown above.  It's a milky pale peach and it looks beautiful on it's own or paired over your favorite lipstick.  The color elixirs are extremely comfortable to wear and apply nicely with a flat doe foot applicator.  

Overall I am so glad I picked this color up because it's the perfect nude lipgloss to top any of my favorite lipsticks!

*This particular color is the only one from the line I have tried and it makes me wanting more.  I put it on my lips and it went full pigmented color in one swipe! The color was rich and juicy without having slip to it.  I wore the color for 7 hours without needing to touch up.  To me, that is an indication of a great lipstick! 

*This is a gorgeous violet color with a hint of fuchsia undertones to it. Wearing purple can be somewhat difficult for some, but I would describe this as a very wearable violet color. 

*What I really love about this lipstick formula was although it was long wearing, the formula was not drying to my lips.  They never felt dry or cracked, just constantly nourished! Even the end of the day when I took off the lipstick, it left my lips hydrated, where as typical Matte formulas tend to leave lips a little dehydrated.  

*The lipstick is a little pricey at $24, but I feel like you get what you pay for as far as quality, color, & wear.
