Tarte LipSurgence Power Pigments Spring 2014

LipSurgence Power Pigment-  The packaging on these is stunning, they match the cheek stain packaging in the corresponding color.  There are 8 colors that coincide with the cheek stains which also match their top selling powder blush colors from their Amazonian clay line. These Power Pigments are full coverage, packed with pigment and have a satin finish to them. They also have a slight peppermint scent and flavor & are infused with vitamin E, shea butter and caranuba wax for moisture and anti-oxidant effects.  These pencils are also smaller than their other LipSurgence pencils & don't require a sharpener because they are twist up!

Overall Thoughts- These were somewhat drying on my lips and looked as though the finish was a satin, so I always topped them with a gloss.  The pencil itself is small and that makes it easier to use.  I wished there was a lighter pink color because when applied to the lips, most of these colors appeared more subdued and I would've liked a lighter pink and a more hot pink color!  My favorite colors were probably Fearless & Flush.  

Milani Coming Up Roses Powder Blush Collection {Spring 2014}

 Milani Coming Up Roses Powder Blush Collection for Spring 2014 features 4 Bright, Bold & Intense colors.  All of these are matte finish & retail for $7.99 at most places.  

Love Potion- Bright Matte Pink

This color swatches well and blended well on the cheeks. The color is very intense, so I find these apply best with a duo fibre brush and I make sure to tap a little off on my hand before I apply to my face.

Tea Rose- Midtone Matte Rose

This color is the most subtle of the 4, yet still packs a punch.  It's extremely pigmented and is probably the most wearable out of all of them for most people.  I found this color blended in beautifully to the cheeks and wore all day.

Coral Love- Bright Matte Coral

This blush although gorgeous in color was the most powdery of the 4 and when swatched it was patchy and the powder would just shift around as I tried to blend it in.  When I applied it to my cheeks it was a different story, it blended nicely and gave a great coral pop to the cheeks. Again, this is very pigmented so a little goes a long way.  

Lady Rouge- Bright Matte Reddish Pink

This is a gorgeous color when applied to the cheeks because it is one of those colors that gives the snow bitten cheek look and makes the face appear like it's flushed from being out in the cold.  That comes across as natural because when our faces get flushed, that is what our cheeks do, so I love the way this particular color looks applied to the cheeks.  Very pigmented, yet applied somewhat patchy when swatched on hand. 

       Love Potion, Tea Rose, Coral Love, Lady Rouge

Overall Thoughts- These blushes are very pigmented and the colors are bright, bold and on trend for Spring.  The packaging is stunning with the gold rim, it's a real showstopper.  The product itself swatches patchy and inconsistent on the hand, but when applied to the cheeks it is pigmented and blends well. All of the colors kick up a lot of powder. The only color I would skip on is Coral Love, only because that one took a little effort to blend and apply evenly on the cheek.

Maybelline Dare To Go Nude Spring 2014 | Limited Edition Lipsticks + Color Elixirs

Maybelline released their Spring 2014 Dare To Go Nude Collection with several gorgeous neutral products! Their Colorsensational Lipsticks are always some of my favorites.  This collection had 4 Limited Edition shades and I picked up 2 that stuck out to me.  The 2 I picked up are Ravishing Rose- which is a pale milky coral pink color. This is very light on the lips and applies very evenly with a creme finish.  Nude Embrace- is a mauve taupe nude color that is also a creme finish and applies very evenly to the lips.  

I love both of these colors and think they are a great addition to any collection, especially if you are a nude lover!

 In the Dare To Go Nude Collection they released 6 Limited Edition Color Elixirs.  Maybellines Color Elixirs are a gloss that feels like a balm and has the pigmentation of a lipstick.  I only picked up 1 of the 6 colors and it was a milky peachy nude color called Sandy Sensation.  

 Sandy Sensation- is a beautiful nude that is the perfect topper to any of the lipsticks shown above.  It's a milky pale peach and it looks beautiful on it's own or paired over your favorite lipstick.  The color elixirs are extremely comfortable to wear and apply nicely with a flat doe foot applicator.  

Overall I am so glad I picked this color up because it's the perfect nude lipgloss to top any of my favorite lipsticks!

Maybelline Dare To Go Nude Spring 2014 | Color Tattoos

Maybelline released a New Spring 2014 Collection called: Dare To Go Nude

In that collection they released 6 New Limited Edition Color Tattoos and I picked up 3 of them to add to my collection.  

If you aren't familiar with Maybelline's Color Tattoos they are cream eyeshadow products that are VERY waterproof.  Whenever I swatch these on my hands, the swatches stay on even after several hand washes! So imagine a gorgeous, pigmented eye base that can be worn alone or topped with shadow, but doesn't crease and stays all day! 

 Nude Compliment, Caramel Cool, Sleek & Spice

 These colors are nice and neutral and look so gorgeous on the lids.  I love wearing Caramel Cool and topping it with L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Amber Rush, makes a gorgeous Rose Gold eye look!

Nude Compliment is a cool taupe metallic shade and applies smooth with even pigmentation.  Caramel Cool is a warm orange golden metallic shade that really stands out on the lid. This shade is also smooth and pigmented and applies evenly.  Sleek & Spice is more of a warmer Bronze Metallic shade and is the darkest of the 3 shown here. This reminds me of a warmer version of Bad To The Bronze, which is a permanent shade from Maybelline.  

Other Colors were 2 more beige colors and a black color which I didn't pick up because I already have several similar colors in my collection of bases.

Overall- These are a hit & I recommend the 3 colors that I picked up.  Remember, these are Limited Edition, so if you find them, make sure you snag them because every time Maybelline releases LE Color Tattoos, they tend to be hard to find!
